The literary genre is liable to transform or even through transmutations, processes which underline the tight connection between the generic paradigm and the dynamics of the literary phenomenon. Although the literary genre respects a set of rigid rules, it admits periodic reconfigurations, due to the upsurging aesthetical initiatives, to the outstanding and singulary expression of some literary works or to the explicit recontextualization into different ideological areas, various manifests, or unconventional and innovative bills of fares. The historical evolution of the literary genre is not a plane one, for its moments of great tension, aesthetical discontinuity and tearing are followed by the canonization of those forms which were initially unaccepted and rejected. In a broad sense, the literary genre is a convention complied with a very creative and free manner. Therefore, the inter-genre is an indeniable reality stemming from generic interferences, the melting pot of unspecific forms and features appertaining to logic or analogic classes, both of them gathering the same type of literary works.
