Abstract:
This article tackles the issue of how Italian works dedicated to translation studies may have influenced the translation research in our country. After an initial inventory, we will proceed to data analysis in order to examine the various ways in which an Italian influence manifested itself in Romanian studies dedicated to translation. The paper offers a descriptive and analytic approach, with a view to mapping the Italian influence and its relevance in the field of Romanian translation studies.
