Abstract: | The phonetic phonemes, elements of characterization and suggestion specific to poetry, find their place also in prose, the writer appealing to them with the intention of emphasizing certain ideas. Our analysis relies on Liviu Rebreanu’s short stories. Rebreanu’s texts combine in a well-balanced manner the elements of the phonemic level (euphony, rhythm and intonation), with which the writer expresses the imagined senses more objectively. Stylistic analysis performed aims to describe the style of the work expressing assessments on it and, from this perspective, showing how content becomes artistic expression. |
