It is commonly believed that any word is presented in isolation only in the lexicographical corpus of a work (i.e. in language), but in fact (i.e. in speech) the word aims to establish „kinship” links with various words which belong either to the same field (semantic, derivational, associative, etc.) or to different fields. The present article focuses on the possibility and the need to compile a dictionary based on association, i.e. similarity that refers to the appearance of a similar (verbalized) representation under the influence of the other (also verbalized) representation.
Key words:
analogy, association, associative field, semantic field, reaction word, stimulus word, representation, associative network
