Abstract: | Bugeac, the southern part of Bessarabia, has a thousand years-old history. This region has been inhabited by a permanent and sedentary population, the Geto-Dacian, the Romanians on river Prut, the Romanian that left for future generations a priceless treasure of our national history and culture. Bugeac’s toponymy, the subject of this study, is a part of the millennial Romanic patrimony. |
