Abstract: | [Parlamentary discourse. Definitions and delimitations] In the hereby study, I underlined a few aspects of the parliamentary discourse, in general, with emphasis on the Romanian parliamentary discourse during its formation period, in particular. Until the 1990s, the Romanian political discourse was a topic of research avoided by researchers. The parliamentary discourse, as a subtype of the political discourse, cannot be dissociated from the historical context, just as it cannot be separated from the influence of the institutional factors. Therewith, I’ve shown that the parliamentary discourse obeys certain norms included in the parliamentary regulations, so that the institutionalization of the political power (the establishing of the Parliament) should regulate this type of discourse. |
