Abstract: | The present paper is aiming to prove that the rhetoric of the biblical texts also resides in its morphological and syntactic level. We compare some of the Psalms in two versions of the Bible, focusing upon the differences between the use of the personal pronouns and that of the possessive adjectives in the noun phrase. Thus, we can both make some pertinent observations regarding some concepts in the recent grammars of Romanian language, and sustain the idea that the deep rhetoric of the religious discourse can benefit from interpretation of the grammatical relations within the text. |
